Position Exit - X-Fab Silicon Foundries (XFAB.PA)
I'm closing my position in XFAB.PA effective at today's close (June 25th).
As I’ve outlined in this article, I actively monitor my portfolio and adjust positions as needed. Recently, I’ve lowered my expectations for XFAB due to the sector’s significant CAPEX demands. With the stock’s recent price appreciation, other holdings in my portfolio now offer a more attractive risk-reward profile, so I’ve decided to exit this position.
I had initiated positions in January (1), (2), and early February (3), which worked out well — delivering nearly a 30% gain in EUR in just 5 months. Factoring in EUR/USD appreciation, the total return exceeds 40% in USD.
